Tribute scenes for the end times. For this arc to be everything I want it to be, it would lean heavily on altering the Nemesis Doppleganger idea of creating NPCs that pull from the server database.

Vision

This is the epic capstone for the whole story arc, thought maybe not the last chronologically speaking, definitely high reaching aspirations.

Mission Break down

Rikti/Shivan Invasion Missions

 2-3 missions
: Pick out iconic places to defend City Zones. This is to model the heavy Rikti Invasion events on Live right before Sunset. if we can't create Mission Maps possibly use Mayhem/Safeguard Mission maps to simulate City wide fighting?
For Blue Side, the coin in Kings Row, where Blue Steel is would be interesting as the third mission if we include the Pocket D door, could use that to head into the meet up mission. A Red Side Equivalent would be Port Oakes East Docks

Pocket D

meet up with various contacts (Maxed out, or Major Player Choice flagged references We could treat this as a talking hub/tactics mission, perhaps some "if we don't pull through this moments") Might nix this portion.

Torch Vigils(Atlas Park/Mercy Island?)

Part one
  • “Give Torches” temp power to have the player hand out torches to people milling around for the Vigil.
  • Have protestors in the parking lot if possible
Part Two
  • Have speeches, either culled from AMAs or just inspirational drivel
  • Have a call when ready to set the "in game" timer to “sunset”
Part Three
  • go to a cut scene with Player standing/floating while facing [NCSOFT] if we can, have a long cut through triggered loading screens with the blank field in the background.
The Space Mission map with the background changed out for a field of stars no earth in view might be a beautiful set piece. It would also make for a good HQ for OuroDev as a whole after the end of arc, perhaps with a Door to this zone on one of the Islands floating around in the main Ouroboros Zone.
  • Boss fight representing not laying down and taking the end of the world, but standing up to fight, possibly being joined by Major Named Heroes/Villains
  • Cut scene with the Player and "Ouro" who gives them a "spark of hope" and urges them to breathe life into the World "From the Ashes". Cut back/exit Mission to the Sun Dawning on Atlas Park.
